2018 Featured Speaker: Frank Warren from PostSecret

 

January 15, 9:50 a.m.,

Bell Ringing Ceremony & Reception, Peaks to Plains

The ringing of the bell symbolizes the quest for peace, along with justice, human rights, and social and economic progress for all people. The symbol of the bell also embraces America's historic Liberty Bell, the representation of independence. MSU Billings has been honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. for over 20 years.

 

January 16, 7 p.m.,

PostSecret Live at MSUB (Keynote), Petro Theater

Frank Warren is the creator of PostSecret, a collaborative art project that cellebrates the transformative power of telling our stories.

 

January 17

“DIY Stress Relief Craft” 11am-1pm City College. 

Students can take a break between classes to make their own stress relief ball.

Inside Out Film Screening 6:00 pm, Petro Theater

Emotions run wild in the mind of a young girl who is uprooted from her peaceful life in the Midwest and forced to move to San Francisco. This film screening will help us continue the conversation of reaching resililience, navigating emotions, and making this a conversation that is no longer stigmatized. This event is Junior Jackets approved.

 

January 18

“DIY Stress Relief Craft” 11am-1pm LA Building

Students can take a break between classes to make their own stress relief ball.
