What is Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) provides access to items not available in the MSU Billings Library, including books, media, articles, book chapters, conference proceedings, and more.  Requests for materials are made through MSUB's ILLiad account.

Do you need an item that the MSU Billings Library doesn't own? If you want it, the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) department will try to get it for you from another library or source. This is a free service for students and staff.

Local students:  Articles and chapters sent via email. Books and media are held at the Library's circulation desk.

 

Distance Students (online only and reside outside of Yellowstone County):  Articles and chapters are sent via email. ILL and MSUB books are mailed to your home. Library provides a label to cover the return postage.
