The League of Women Voters is a nationwide, nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active government participation. Founded in 1920 as the successor to the National American Woman Suffrage Association, they work to increase understanding of major public policy issues and influence policies through education and advocacy. They operate at the national, state, and local levels in all 50 states, Washington DC, the Virgin Islands, and Hong Kong.
The League of Women Voters of Montana hosts events across the state and has chances to get involved.
