Google Scholar is a specialized search engine for scholarly content. It lists millions of journal articles, books, theses, dissertations, and others documents. For some results, it links to the full text online.
While Google Scholar is an invaluable tool for finding research and an excellent complement to your library's search tools, it is not completely reliable. Because its results are compiled by web crawlers (robots), it includes some spam, as well as articles from controversial, poorly vetted journals. Tread carefully!
Google Scholar can connect to the MSUB Library's catalog and databases. This lets you see if the Library has access to the items you are searching for via the View it @ MSUB button.
If you are accessing Google Scholar via the MSUB computer network or the MSUB-mobile wifi, then Google Scholar will connect automatically with the Library. Alternatively, go to Settings → Library links and enable access to Montana State University Billings.
