After 35 years and 21 editions, the Library of Montana State University Billings published the final edition of the Montana Foundation Directory in 2017. Changing research methods and advances in technology made most of the information compiled in the Directory freely available through a variety of web sources. Changes in staffing and evolving organizational responsibilities along with updates to technology came together to provide a natural stopping point for the print publication of the Directory. We appreciate the opportunity we had to compile and publish the Montana Foundation Directory and thank the non-profit and grants community for their many years of support.
