Children's Literature: Biographies


The events and people are real.  Biographies can be written in the picture book format, and the images often reflect the the time and setting of the person. 

Some of the biographical subjects can be: explorers of earth or space, political leaders & social activists, civil rights leaders, artists & authors, and people or animals who have persevered.
